Athens, Greece - 27/05/2025

As part of its ongoing efforts to raise awareness about emerging food safety challenges, the Horizon Europe project AMBROSIA is proud to announce the release of a new podcast episode, hosted by CNN Greece.

In this special feature, Jenny Kapsi, Dissemination and Communication Manager at SmartAgroHub and partner of the AMBROSIA project, speaks with journalist Kostas Pliakos about the increasingly urgent question:

“What does climate change mean for the safety of the food we eat?”

The episode explores:

  • 🔍 The effects of climate change on food safety and quality

  • 🦠 The rise of harmful microorganisms and foodborne toxins

  • 🌱 The role of innovation in protecting consumers and food systems

  • 🤝 How researchers, farmers, and innovation hubs are working together to build resilience

The conversation is conducted in Greek and is part of AMBROSIA’s broader mission to promote dialogue, share knowledge, and foster innovation in the face of climate-related food risks.
