On 7 May 2026, the AMBROSIA and CATALYSE projects will organise a joint webinar dedicated to scientific innovations for food safety action. The event will mark the beginning of a new synergy between the two Horizon Europe projects, creating an opportunity to introduce their objectives, present their complementary focus areas, and explore future collaboration.
The webinar will serve as an introductory session, giving participants the opportunity to learn more about the scope and expected contributions of both projects. Representatives from AMBROSIA and CATALYSE will present the main aims of their work and explain how each project contributes to addressing important challenges linked to food safety, sustainability, innovation, and resilience in food systems.
Food safety remains a key priority for public health, consumer trust, and sustainable food systems. At the same time, new pressures such as climate change, complex supply chains, emerging hazards, and changing production conditions make scientific knowledge and collaborative approaches more important than ever.
Through this joint webinar, AMBROSIA and CATALYSE aim to highlight the value of cooperation between research projects working on complementary topics. While each project has its own specific objectives and methodology, both contribute to a broader effort to strengthen food safety systems through science-based knowledge, innovation, and stakeholder engagement.
The event will also provide an opportunity to officially announce the synergy between the two projects. This collaboration is expected to support knowledge exchange, joint communication activities, and future opportunities for interaction between the project communities.
By joining forces, AMBROSIA and CATALYSE aim to amplify their visibility, reach wider audiences, and contribute to ongoing discussions on food safety and sustainable food systems.
