AMBROSIA @ the 39th EFFoST 2025

AMBROSIA_project was represented by Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) research team members Leonardos Stathas, Constantine-Richard Stefanou and Dr. Christina Kamarinou at the 39th #EFFoST2025 Conference, held in Porto (Portugal) on 17–19 November 2025 and organised by the European Federation of Food Science and Technology 🧪🥼.


Constantine-Richard Stefanou gave an oral presentation on a decision-support tool for farmers 🚜🌽 to forecast aflatoxin risk in stored corn using meteorological data and forecasts 🌦️to support timely decision-making.


Dr. Christina Kamarinou presented a poster on a meta-analysis of prevalence of Salmonella in fresh produce across Europe 🇪🇺 and an exploration of climate-related associations. 


The team highlighted #AMBROSIA’s broader mission to integrate climate modelling 🌍, predictive modelling, and practical tools to support food safety resilience across Europe under a changing climate.
